Does the procedure hurt?
Pain tolerance varies between clients. Treatment can feel like pinching of the skin and you will feel a slight stinging sensation. However, the procedure is over in a matter of minutes. Due to the subdermal location, downtime, bruising and swelling is minimal. The small lumps of product usually disappear within 24-48hours post treatment, depending on skin quality.
How long does it last?
It is really difficult to provide a definitive answer as there are many factors to consider such as the client’s age, lifestyle, and skin type. After your first treatment, we recommend that you have a second treatment on day 30, and then again at 6-9 months.
What are the risks with bioremodeling injections?
There are risks involved with any cosmetic treatment, however, the adverse events from bioremodeling procedures is under 1%. Additionally, our treatment will be carried out by a nurse, under the strict medical approval of a doctor.
Do I need a doctors/GP referral for my injectables appointment?
No! This is a requirement for surgical procedures only.
