What to expect post treatment

Mild redness, swelling, bruising, heat to the treated area
Downtime isn’t necessary, however it is best to plan around major events. Makeup cannot be worn on the day of treatment, however the next day is fine. Exercise should be avoided for 24hours post treatment.

How much does it cost?

How long does a PRP session go for?

Procedure time can vary depending on the size of the treatment area. Please allow 1 hour - 1.5 hours to complete your procedure.

Is the treatment painful?

PRP involves small injections. Depending on the area treated, the modality (machine or hand injections) will be decided by your treating Nurse. Pain tolerance is dependant on the individual and the location of the treatment area. Some areas can be more sensitive than others. Topical numbing cream is applied at the commencement of the appointment for ease of injection, you will be sent an email after booking your appointment on how to purchase a compounded strength numbing agent.

Do I need a doctors/GP referral for my appointment?

No! This is a requirement for surgical procedures only.
